Delia Field (widow of Chicago department store mogul Marshall Field) entertained the Prince of Wales in 1919 at the Pink Palace at 2600 16th Street.
The Prince of Wales (Edward VIII) was known for his charm and good looks. He and his wife (Wallis Simpson) were probably the most famous pug enthusiasts of the 20th century.
