March 29, 2009:

If You Love Something, Set it Free

The inspiration for this painting is three-fold:
1. Tibet celebrates Serfs Emancipation Day (read more here: Serf Emancipation Day (from the China Daily news))
2. Smithsonian Kite Festival took place on Saturday March 27 on the National Mall.
3. President Obama steps on to the world stage at the G-20 summit. He hopes his ideas about the ecomomy, the war in Afghanistan and his other policies 'take flight' and are embraced by other leaders.
