"Allegory of Arab Spring" is a modern reinterpretation of Sandro Botticelli's "Allegory of Spring". (ca. 1480) Near the center, "The Three Graces" are protesting, holding flags that represent their countries (Yemen, Bahrain and Libya). Focus is on Mohammed Bouazizi, the Tunisian man who set himself on fire; sparking the people's revolution and the Arab Spring. On the far right, Hoosni Mubarak grabs Lara Logan (the CBS reporter who was brutally beaten and sexually assaulted while covering the protests in Egypt). On the left, President Obama ushers in change by hurling a predator drone, while wearing his Nobel Peace Prize.
