Actress Helen Hayes was baptized at St Patrick’s Parish here in the Shaw neighborhood. Helen Hayes' career in entertainment surpasses most others in years as well as in achievements. She began acting at the age of five and didn't stop until she was 85. Hayes’ first acting role (age 5) was as Peaseblossom in a production of Midsummer Night’s Dream.
